Technology
HRTII
We are proud to be one of the country's few optometry practices to have the Heidelberg Retinal Tomograph II (HRTII). This instrument digitally images the retina and optic nerve using a scanning laser. The computer then analyzes the precise image to aid in early detection and treatment of eye disease such as glaucoma.
RTVue
Our RTVue system is an ultra-highspeed, high resolution OCT retina scanner usedfor retina imaging and analysis. Isolating layers within the retina provide information and metrics to identify and monitor retina based diseases for greater confidence in clinical assessment.
TRS and EPIC Systems
Eye Designs Optometry is the only Sacramento area office to use the Epic and TRS refracting system. By computerizing our methods of determining your eye power, we ensure that you receive the most accurate prescription.

Insurance plans we participate with include VSP ®, Medical Eye Services (MESC), HEALTHNET Vision Plan, Superior Vision Plan, EYEMED, Medicare and Medicaid.
